About the P&O department

The P&O department executes the strategy so that Ampelmann attracts, develops, and retains the best Amployees. We have an international work environment with 10 local offices with both on- and offshore personnel. This leads to a diverse and complex workforce. P&O is responsible for the following functional areas: Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Global Mobility, Absenteeism, Talent Management, Employer Branding, Engagement, (Employment-) Contracting and (People-) Administration for both on- and offshore personnel.

Your role as Work student P&O

As a student working within the P&O team, you will support the whole department with administrative and day-to-day tasks. You will be a first point of contact for our colleagues regarding P&O related questions such as, interview planning, matters with certificates or employment contracts. Besides these tasks, you will have the opportunity to support the team with relevant P&O projects depending on your interests, education and skills.

Regular activities

  • Posting vacancies on our website and offering support during the hiring process
  • Planning job interviews with candidates and managers
  • Supporting with administrative P&O tasks and keeping relevant P&O systems up-to-date
  • Uploading (training) certificates & employment contracts in personnel files
  • Fulfilling editor responsibilities for the internal company Newsletter
  • Assisting in a wide range of relevant P&O projects, events or trainings

We ask

  • Bachelor or Master student
  • Good communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Available for a minimum of 2 days a week
  • Experience within or affinity with HR is an advantage

  • A gross salary of EUR 15,- per hour (all-inclusive)
