bout the role:

New opportunity available within Sanofi General Medicines for a Product Specialist Cardiovascular!

You are part of the national cardiovascular team consisting of 6 colleague Product Specialists and 2 Customer Engagement Managers

You will be accountable for driving the commercial success of the cardiovascular portfolio in the Northern (Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel) or Mid. Eastern (Gelderland, Utrecht) part of The Netherlands. You will be responsible for the successful commercialization of Praluent and building up long term relationships with customers (cardiologists, (vascular) internists and CV nurses to ensure patients have optimal access to products and services.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful commercialization of Praluent in a field-based position through in person and digital engagement with external (key) stakeholders
  • Be the orchestrator of the region: understand market & patient dynamics, challenges, opportunities, and the needs & drivers of customers in order to define and implement the tactics that are needed to bring the cardiovascular portfolio and services of Sanofi to the next level
  • Lead strategic account mapping, planning and execution in key accounts in line with the overall Netherland brand strategy and local drivers and barriers
  • Obtain insights among key stakeholders and decision makers at the regional and local level, and be a trusted advisor in providing services and solutions that add value to customers and patients
  • Report relevant information about customer contacts in the Customer Relationship Management System

About you

  • 3+ years of sales experience in pharma environment, preferably in the specific product/disease area
  • Knowledge of the cardiovascular market
  • Experience in lipid lowering therapy market is a plus
  • Good networking and communication skills with highly persuasive selling and negotiation skills
  • Self-driven, proactive and outgoing
  • Team player, driven, and show courage and passion for execution and the ability to maintain focus under pressure
  • Curious, eager to understand market data and emerging trends to incorporate them into strategic and tactical plans
  • Positive working attitude with passion
  • Higher professional education (HBO)/(WO) working and thinking level
  • Oral and written fluency in Dutch is mandatory
