Job description

The role calls for a motivated and skilled Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant to be a part of a dynamic D365 consultancy services team.

The D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant will:

  • Delivery of D365 FO end-to-end implementation projects including design, configuration, testing, training, cutover, post go-live support & reporting
  • Work with onsite engagement team & client team to gather requirements, determine expectations & finalise deliverables
  • Ensure quality project delivery of deliverables produced and demonstrate experience in system and functional testing
  • Demonstrate excellent foundational consulting skills, including analytical knowhow, written & verbal communication & team participation.
  • Involvement with D365FO interfaces and Integrations
  • Ability to gather and document functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis
  • Demonstrate Awareness of scope (creep) and use of change control
  • Leading the solution on a work stream, making design decisions and creating solution documentation
  • Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues
  • Provide on-site support and assistance throughout delivery and go-live phases of project
  • Occasional involvement in responding to RFPs and RFQs would be beneficial
  • Identify practice development activities and help in defining how these will be delivered
  • Carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by Directors
  • Ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training
  • Represent KPMG MBS in a professional and positive manner at all times
  • Have awareness of product roadmap and the content of future releases of D365FO
  • Demonstrate awareness around upselling and company capabilities

Requirements:

  • Ideally Educated to degree level, Masters preferred.
  • Ideally Microsoft Dynamics certifications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Core Finance and Operations and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
  • At least 6 years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365FO) or 5 end to end implementation projects
  • Exposure to presales activities would be an added value
  • Conducting functional interviews
  • Mentoring juniors
  • Some technical knowledge would be considered as an asset.
  • RSAT knowledge would be considered as an asset.
  • Prepared to travel on frequent basis
  • Experience/Knowledge about ERP implementation methodologies and have strong analytical acumen
  • Experience on operating in Shared Services or nearshore teams is an added asset
  • Ability to perform under minimal supervision and perform in changing environments
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
  • Experience with (D365FO) interfaces and Integrations
  • Good understanding of industry processes, principles, functionality & systems for their chosen specialism
  • Beneficial to have experience of LCS and Azure DevOps
  • Good MS Office skills (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) a plus
  • Experience in consulting and very good presentation skills
