The Applied Technology team design and build technology solutions to NRF's clients and is a key component of NRF Transform. With our team of developers, business analysts, consultants, and product managers we work closely with clients and colleagues, such as Legal Operations Consulting, to address some really challenging legal and business problems.

The Role:

  • Lead and collaborate with our team of consultants, business analysts, developers and product managers to help solve client problems using appropriate technology solutions
  • Leverage your experience and skills to competently manage technical client projects
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and team members on complex technical topics and issues
  • Work in accordance with established technical best practice principles to ensure we offer high quality products and solutions to our clients
  • Build upon existing processes and protocols through continuous process improvement and sharing lessons learnt
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of common and emerging technology relevant to our clients and the legal industry
  • Participate in team and department initiatives, social events, and special projects

Skills and Experience:

  • A proven track record of leading the end-to-end development of modern, cloud-based software applications
  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft cloud technologies including an architecture level understanding of Azure services
  • Experience with Azure cloud security and data protection strategies
  • Experience in front-end web development tools and languages - JavaScript, React, Angular HTML/CSS
  • Experience with APIs and web services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering, solution design, and ability to actively participate in technical solution discussions
  • Ability to design, build, think and communicate in a systematic manner
  • Excellent analytical, problem identification and issue resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven and demonstrable dedication to quality of work and client focus
  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively towards deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects with consistently high-quality results
  • Able to demonstrate good judgment in sensitive or stressful situations
