Lockheed Martin UK – Rotary and Mission Systems is one of the four business areas operating in-country and provides systems engineering, software development, complex programme management and systems integration for advanced platform integration, electronic warfare, training and logistics systems and cyber solutions for military and civil customers. It is this part of the business that is looking for a Contracts Manager to join our talented team.

The Contracts Manager will perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration.

This vital role will be providing business advice and guidance whilst co-ordinating with other functions to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations.

Ensuring contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Leading and supporting audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensuring final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.

Due to the nature of the role SC clearance is required in advance.

You will have proven experience in a similar role. You will encompass a 'can-do', 'all-in' attitude that seeks out opportunities to demonstrate the value that the commercial function can offer. Willingness/desire to undertake stretch assignments/projects
