The Role

The eBay Delivery Operations and Solutions Team are looking for a self-starter and motivated individual to join the team to hold a central role in the team in running the execution of our programmes which improve the overall delivery experience for eBay’s buyers and sellers. This role includes ensuring that our delivery and logistics solutions operate at a world class level, providing high quality services always and managing multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure that these solutions deliver operational excellence, with the aim to improve the buyer and seller experience by reducing delivery speed and costs, removing friction and improving convenience.

You will collaborate with business units, product and technology teams, carriers & logistics providers, third party providers, buyers and sellers in the market to highlight areas of opportunity for growth whilst maintaining and growing trust on the site.

This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in business analysis, functional design and customer experience discussions, competitive analysis, market segmentation, working with partners, and more!

You will have...

  • Experience working in an online retail environment with a proven track record of managing multiple third-party partners.
  • A deep knowledge of the eCommerce delivery landscape/logistic solutions or high street retail.
  • Product management experience, in particular experience of working with product and engineering teams to launch customer propositions.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills in order to be able to challenge, influence and make recommendations within the business relating to stakeholder concerns
  • Excellent collaborative problem-solving with a high level of maturity and judgment
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills – ability to convert complex problems into addressable solutions
  • Standout relationship building, energising and influencing skills with peers and senior partners across multiple functions and geographies

  • Projecting gravitas, authority, credibility to all areas of the role is important and being comfortable operating within multiple priorities and objectives, often with a high level of ambiguity.
  • Compassion, good emotional intelligence as well as cultural sensitivity. Ability to keep a calm head and think clearly and quickly under pressure
