We are looking for a person with graduate at bachelor level or higher with an interest in all topics regarding SuccessFactors.

Services are: Employee Central, Onboarding, Workforce Planning, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Succession & Development, Compensation, Learning, Workforce Analytics

Key responsibilities

Support senior system experts on all SuccessFactors modules (60% of time):
Support and collaborate with other system experts on the delivery of a stable Successfactors system, including continuous improvement via the change management process and they yearly A2G program. Stakeholder management is key in providing these services: HR Centers of Expertise (CoE), regional & country People Services teams and other HR professionals in the HR function (like HR managers from countries & functions). This also includes the related documentation, like in-application guidance tools (Whatfix), knowledge base articles (ServiceNow), process flows (Signavio)

System adoption, including mobile app & reporting (20% of time):
The mobile application is an important tool in further adoption of the Successfactors platform. Especially for our employee base not connected to our company network by using computers or AkzoNobel devices. Processes like time registration, pay slip overviews, training and approvals can easily be supported via the mobile app. The aim is to get the target population enrolled on the mobile app on personal devices, for which campaigns, attractive communication and continuous training will be needed. Also there is a strong connect to the reporting team within the global People Services team to support on a successful active use of reports by various target groups. Here also pro-active communication (campaigns) and the right push will improve the adoption of tools available.

Training on Systems & Processes, including individual development (20%):
Training will be a significant part of the job to grow into the role of an independent system expert. This includes a specialization in one or more HR processes and the related Successfactors modules. This development will be a combination of training on the job, materials available on the SAP community (learning) portal and the AkzoNobel Academy. The individual development will focus more on applying the new technology in the day-to-day activities and service delivery. It is all about achieving customer satisfaction by bridging the gap between HR processes and technology.

  • Support the senior system experts in being a real counterpart for the HR Centers of Expertise (CoE) and regional People Services (PS) teams: report on issues, suggest system improvements, challenge processes defined by CoEs etc.
  • Provide expertise to increase efficiency and improve quality by standardizing, optimizing and automating global HR processes, using knowledge to deliver value to the HR CoEs
  • Drive the adoption and related communication of the SuccessFactors system, specifically of the mobile app (learn, time management & pay slips)
  • Active contribution in delivery subject matter expert support in improvement projects
  • Support in training key-users and end-users
  • Stay updated on market trends/developments related to the key area of expertise
  • Support senior system experts in annual HR cycles (performance, talent and rewards), including relevant communication
  • Develop high level of knowledge via the SuccessFactors training portal

What do you bring? (Job requirements)

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent;
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer focused, technical support-based role or an interest in HR processes in relation to HR-IT;
  • Basic knowledge on or interest in SuccessFactors, or other HR cloud suite solutions (Workday or Oracle HCM);
  • Pro-active and supportive, with good community building skills;
  • Excellent MS-office skills: Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentational skills, including a high standard of written and spoken English.
  • Presentation skills to organize and host system demos for end users
  • Willingness and ability to learn and adopt new technology from a background of HR processes supported by (new) systems
