The Data Scientist will have following key areas of responsibility.

As a Data Scientist, your objective is to turn data, into valuable information that’s important for our customers. You are responsible for analysing historical and live data streams in order to extract relevant insights. You will work very closely with our Sales team and various customers to understand their pain points and how they can be helped by analyzing data and extracting meaningful information.

  • Deliver solutions to analytical problems in various applications of Water Management.
  • Work closely with System Architects, Software Engineers to define data strategy.
  • Work in close cooperation with Product Managers and customers to identify customer pain points and translate them to meaningful data strategy.
  • Understand real-life problems of the customer and translate to data models, able to think about Digital Twins.

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree in Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics
  • Extensive Experience in Data Science with 3-5 years of hands-on Experience on data analytics based on data.
  • Proven track record on putting data science to work in various water related application such as sewage water, drinking water, surface water, stormwater etc.
  • Proficiency in Machine Learning, statistical principles and techniques such as time series analysis
  • Good presentation skills – able to present the storyline to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in applying Data Science tools to support advanced data analytics and visualization of the data and in creating reports
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch.
