Job Summary

As a Supply Chain Business Analyst, you will utilize your analytical expertise to identify opportunities and make recommendations to enhance Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. You will develop various analytical models and demand planning algorithms to increase demand predictability and S&OP plan accuracy. You will work cross functionally with Sales, Product Management, Finance and Supply Chain Operations to drive alignment and increase process effectiveness. Your data driven insight will enable effective decision making and help the organization become more agile, scalable, and efficient. To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated self-starter who is highly analytical and has a solid understanding of supply chain operations. You must have a passion for solving business problems and be a team player with strong communication skills. Essential Duties:

  • Analyze large data from various source to create bookings forecast models for Sales & Operations plan
  • Identify critical data and data patterns to improve demand predictability and accuracy
  • Develop data visualization and dashboards
  • Plan/coordinate product transitions with cross-functional team to support revenue target and proactively mitigate excess & obsolete inventory
  • Apply analytical expertise to develop and report KPIs
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve planning
  • Lead root cause identification and continuous improvement efforts in the planning process
  • Develop Last Time Buy analysis – optimize Supply and Demand
  • Assist in supply and demand optimization by providing demand outlook and risk assessment
  • Lead/participate in supply chain projects

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics. Understanding of how data is constructed within the systems and ability to source information for analysis
  • Experience in building statistical forecast models
  • Working knowledge of SQL, R or Python
  • Experience with data visualization/BI SW (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and address unstructured or less defined problems
  • Problem solver and change agent who can identify problems in advance and propose solutions
  • Ability to build rapport with all key stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities through understanding impact on business results
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering. Master’s degree a plus
  • 1-3+ years of experience in an analytical role; experience in building forecasting models
