Dualis is an inhouse developed centralised project resource planning software which shall ease and align the Project resource demand with the available employee workforce. Project leads and team leads will be supported by dualis on a daily basis to discuss their present and future resource planning.

On the one hand a developed API to RWE’s Offshore SAP System ensures a single source of truth in regards of employee data on the other hand a planned API to the Offshore Project Pipeline will support the standardisation process to align project data within dualis.

As product owner you have interactions with many stake- and shareholders such as Project Leads, Team Leads, dualis Admins, Controlling and other support functions. This requires a well handling of understanding the company’s and the user’s needs.

The aims are

  • To be responsible to determine and analyse customer and product requirements and derive product solutions from them, prioritize, plan, and follow them up to review and acceptance. In doing so, you control the development teams in terms of subject matter and content
  • Furthermore, your tasks range from consulting to the development of new, complex, and customer-specific components for the product
  • To be responsible for maximising the product value and increase user coverage
  • To be responsible for developing and explicitly communicating the Product Goal
  • To manage the Product Backlog with agile methodology
  • Creating, defining, prioritising and clearly communicating Product Backlog items
  • To ensure that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible, and understood
  • To work as Scrum Team (Scrum Master, Product Owner, UX Designer and Developers) to create valuable product backlog items for enhancing the product’s usage and its data quality
  • Acting as face and voice of the product and clearly owning the future development and success of the product

Your profile

  • Bachelor’ or Master’s Degree in Business Management or similar
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) in a digital environment as Product owner. Experience in resource management would be beneficial
  • Ideally understanding of the Offshore business
  • You were able to gather experience in cloud based development with a lot of interfaces
  • Ability to constructively resolve conflicts and to constantly optimize the product value
  • Ability to work with and within cross functional teams
  • High Knowledgeability in understanding the market, the customer, and the product
  • Structured, pragmatic, motivating, and empathetic personality, actively involving yourself
  • Effective communication skills
  • High self-organisation
  • Decision making skills
  • Fluent in English, German is considered a plus but not required
  • Willingness to travel to a certain extent
