About the team

Supporting the Group President, Head of International Merchant Solutions, the Business Performance Team will be focussed on Commercial Growth, Transformation and Business Administration. Together with the leaders of International, they will drive key strategic initiatives, as well as supporting the SVP Strategic Planning to deliver the Chief of Staff function for the Group President.

You will be the key connector between the Global Enterprise division leadership and the EMEA regional commercial organisation. You will be interacting with our commercial leaders within the region to help shape their priorities and refine their strategic plans. You will successfully partner with the commercial business to ensure that these plans enable them to hit their targets, whilst maintaining a strong alignment to the overall Global Enterprise strategy.

  • In partnership with business leaders across the EMEA region, identify growth creation opportunities for the business
  • Initiate business performance review cycles and deliver ongoing support to enhance the region’s ability to meet its commercial goals over a multi-year timeframe
  • Lead financial business analysis, decision support and strategic analysis for enabling consistent prioritisation of initiatives for the Global Enterprise division, grounded in commercial benefit, leveraging your expertise of the EMEA regional dynamics
  • Establish, install, and run the appropriate cross-functional forums to ensure all stakeholders feel appropriately informed to enable effective decision making
  • Lead process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices
  • Engage with business and cross-functional leaders to ensure availability and readiness of resources required within EMEA to execute against Global Enterprise Merchant’s strategic plans
  • Present regularly to senior management and cross-functional partners, detailing key initiatives and the financial impact of strategic projects, and seek alignment on priorities
  • Support the Senior Director of Business Performance on thought leadership and creation of Global Enterprise strategic vision
  • Support the GM for EMEA and their leadership team in responding to business requests, ensuring alignment within and compliance to business frameworks

What you bring:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver effective written outputs for a senior audience to facilitate strategic decision making
  • High degree of organisation; highly adept at project planning and workload prioritization management
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
  • Commercially focussed mindset, with the desire to drive growth initiatives within a large business
  • General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications, and value-added services
