About the team:

The Global Collections teams support the Finance and Revenue Assurance division of Merchant Solutions and our Global Business customers, with a strong focus on cash collection and aged debt clearance.

You will be part of a high performing, fast paced department improving existing and developing new strategies that will improve the colleague and customer experience as well as our collections rates to reduce aged debt.

About the role:

As a Business Analyst, you’ll work as part of the Global Collections team driving improvements to our strategies across different platforms, currencies, and continents to support the delivery of our best-in-class products and services that will define the world of fintech.

What you will be doing:

  • Analyses and documents business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities.
  • Utilise systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner.
  • Plan and design business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/return on investment.
  • May train internal employees on changes to business practices, processes or procedures.
  • May provide coaching and/or guidance to less experienced Business Analysts.
  • May perform special projects upon request and on occasion.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
  • What you will need
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in industry-standard process methodologies.
  • Experience in business administration, information systems and strategisation.
  • Extensive data and analytical experience with great attention to detail
  • Ability to scrutinise and interrogate data and processes

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience in the Financial Services and/or Payments industry
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of Collections processes and regulations in the UK and the USA.
