A unique opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic Human Resources professional to join us as a Business Partner in our London office supporting the Central Services functions; Financial Management Group (FMG), Corporate Operations Group (COG) and Risk Management Group (RMG).

Financial Management Group provides strategic analysis and advice in relation to capital, funding, liquidity, tax and financial performance to support the growth of Macquarie’s businesses around the world. Financial Management Group comprises Finance, Group Treasury, Tax and Corporate Affairs.

Risk Management Group’s group of independent divisions; Compliance, Market Risk, Credit, Behavioural Risk, Financial Crime Risk, Behavioural Risk Operational Risk and Governance and Internal Audit are responsible for objective review, challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks.

The Corporate Operations Group brings together specialist support services in Digital Transformation & Data, Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Business Services, Corporate Strategy and Solutions, and the Macquarie Group Foundation. We deliver service excellence to ensure Macquarie is open for business, deliver on transformational change, invest in our people and have deep relationships with our customers.

As part of the wider HR team both regionally and globally, you will be responsible for the delivery of an ambitious people agenda that is aligned to each division’s purpose. This role will encompass a diverse range of HR activities and will utilize your experience across all elements of the employee lifecycle. There is also significant opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of strategic initiatives, cultural change, and integration and, demonstrate your personal leadership.

To be successful in this role, you will be driven, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate prior effectiveness in a matrixed, international environment with multiple stakeholders. You will have a successful track record in a similar role gained within financial services or professional services.
