We’re looking for Backend Engineer talent, who can write well-written code, to develop the brain of Seedlink’s product. Working with data science researchers, you’ll invent and implement algorithms, systems and machine learning models to analyze big data. The systems you develop will be exposed to clients via REST API. You will have the chance to provide input on architecture, design, and project execution, building a data-centric application using modern REST APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, write and test new features
  • Measure, diagnose and improve API performance and availability
  • Work with the team for planning and road-mapping
  • Work independently and proactively solve issues and bugs

Requirements

  • 3+ years of practical experience in Backend Web Development
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry
  • Experienced in using
  • HTTP/ REST/ JSON APIs
  • PostgreSQL/ MySQL
  • Python/ Django
  • Linux (Ubuntu)
  • Version Control: Git
  • Broad and deep knowledge of web technologies, methodologies and standards
  • Strong software development and application architecture experience
  • A self-starter who enjoys working in a team
  • Good English language skills

Nice to Have

  • Experienced in Web Service Scaling
  • Experienced in building Enterprise Architecture & highly scalable website
  • Experienced in Panda, Numpy, Scipy
  • Aliyun/ Amazon Web Service
