A day as a Process Engineering Lead
You get into our Venray office and start the day preparing for your work. In this modern office building, you can enjoy a good cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fresh fruit and experience the buzz of the office and the production area and lab.
The morning starts with a daily stand-up in which you review the issues production has been facing the past 24 hours and if this requires immediate attention, of the process engineering team. Your team consists of process engineers, manufacturing engineers, maintenance engineers, and a project manager.
After that, you will check in with your project manager to review the status of the equipment and process development for future products. The equipment development is done with a cross-functional team with experts from all areas of the organization.
During lunch, you have time to reflect and relax. You are free to have a good walk, do some sports or a nice meditation session, or whatever is necessary to be physically and mentally prepared for what is coming in the afternoon.
In the afternoon you will start with an alignment meeting with an equipment supplier to go over the latest details and changes to the machine he is building for our shop floor process. If there is a need you have a quick chat with the operations manager on the status of the projects and any roadblocks you might have encountered.
You end the day with a digital coffee to have a chat with a colleague you wanted to check in with as you didn’t talk to her for a long time.
