THE ROLE

This role will sit alongside two Planning Analytics Developers and will report into the Senior Finance Manager for Group Planning and Finance Systems. The team sits within Financial Planning & Analysis. This role will be the primary contact point for the wider finance team into Planning Analytics, will drive change and continued improvement to processes and models and support all financial month end and forecasting tasks.

JOB PURPOSE

To support Planning Analytics-related activities including month-end, planning cycles, user access/training and ascertain user Planning Analytics requirements to improve existing processes and develop new functionality

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support users with day-to-day queries, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Manage and maintain users across all easyJet Planning Analytics applications.
  • Be responsible for timely and accurate month end, year end and budgeting processes in Planning Analytics, working with and supporting the wider Finance community.
  • Maintain, improve and develop new reports, user interfaces and business processes to ensure all user requirements of the system are met in the most efficient way.
  • Engage and train new and existing users to maintain a high level of knowledge amongst the wider finance community and ensure new product features are relayed effectively.
  • Liaise with easyJet’s Planning Analytics support partner as and when required and to ensure regular upgrades are performed.
  • Assist in model builds
  • Assist in project planning and dialogue across the business on project pipelines, priority and status

Requirements of the Role

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Understanding of IBM Cognos Planning Analytics/TM1 Rules, TI’s and processes
  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience supporting/delivering improvements to Planning Analytics models
  • Demonstrable experience of IBM Planning Analytics PAx and PAW
  • Experience of providing quality end user support
  • Experience of training and engaging with end users
  • Demonstrate a true passion for Planning Analytics and desire to pass this to user
  • SQL
