Are you a (graduate) student, passionate about trade marketing and looking for an experience in an international environment?

The Global Duty Free team is responsible for the development and roll-out of the sales and marketing plans for our duty free markets (airlines, cruise lines, military, ferries etc). In close collaboration with our partners, we plan, organize, and evaluate all commercial activities of our brands in the markets. We are a truly International OpCo with offices in Amsterdam, Sweden, and Miami, and over 25 different nationalities. Our OpCo has around 100 employees and can be characterized as dynamic, professional and ambitious.

The (Trade) Marketing internship plays a vital role to support this, with responsibilities ranging from co-developing consumer promotions, to working on retail activations, permanent visibility plans and trade show organisation support.

The internship is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and starts between October 1st and November 1st for the duration of 6 months. Please note that all interns must be enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship. You will need to provide a proof of enrolment with your application. Applications without this will not be considered.

Your responsibilities

In this internship you will be responsible for supporting the execution of the (trade) marketing calendars with our duty free partners, by:

  • Organizing the execution of BTL campaigns, retails execution and trade show organisation support
  • Closely collaborating with the partners to optimize Point of Sales materials usage in on- and off-trade
  • Growing brands and the category within assigned markets
  • Continue to drive digital transformation of the marketing tool kit

Your profile

You are a student in a relevant field of study and you have the following:

  • Ability to prioritize and to work in a structured way on projects both in a team and individually
  • Exceptional team player capabilities and eagerness to learn and take ownership
  • A pragmatic approach with a can-do mentality; solution orientated.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or Spanish a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; PowerBI base knowledge a plus (trainings to improve offered)
