Job Description

The Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Architect will be responsible for designing, estimating and implementing code as well as basic environment management. Successful applicant will be expected to work closely with project team members and architects to ensure successful completion of project output

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Deliver high quality developments (customisations and integrations)
  • Work closely with Technical and Solution Architect to understand requirements, suggest estimations, and design concepts for possible gaps
  • Work on proof of concepts
  • Write technical design documents
  • Review functional design documents
  • Lead small team of developers and mentor other team members
  • Collaborate with governance team and project manager with regards to deliverables
  • Code release management, ensuring successful build and deployment to relevant environments with appropriate release notes
  • Manage requirements and tasks on Azure DevOps
  • Administer and manage F&O environments
  • Resolve technical issues encountered during testing cycles, raising to Microsoft support as required
  • Participate in training activities to technical customer teams

Desirable skills & experience:

Technical Architect with 7+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 F&O Development and environment management

Candidate must possess below skills and knowledge in Dynamics F&O:

  • Deep technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O framework and platform
  • Hands-on experience in programming using x++ and an understanding of extension framework
  • Experience in design and implementation of system integration tools ideally gained on Microsoft Azure integration tools
  • Experience developing using C#.net
  • Working knowledge of Dataverse and Power Platform
  • Deep understanding of Data management framework and data migration methodologies
  • Comfortable with using Lifecycle Services to manage technical activities
  • Experience in using Azure DevOps for code management and requirement tracking
  • Experience working on Agile and Waterfall projects
  • Experience in technical requirements gathering

Candidate must possess below consulting skills:

  • Ability to lead technical team
  • Good communication and experience with handling customers
  • Microsoft certifications is a plus
  • Knowledge of standard processes for working with offshore teams
  • Remains up-to-date on Dynamics 365 and related technologies
  • Good presentation skills
  • Proficient in English Communication (Verbal & Written)
  • Flexible team player with great attitude
  • Results oriented and self-motivated to deliver with excellence
  • Able to gain or currently hold UK Security Clearance to ‘SC’ level
