Hunkemöller is looking for a new International Merchandising Lead!

As the International Merchandising Lead, you are responsible for working with our Franchise Partners to maximize their sales, while also being the main point of contact cross functionally for all Partner related queries.

The job role will involve:

  • Lead the International Merchandise team with 2 direct reports.
  • Foster & develop close working relationships with our International Franchise Partners
  • Develop & maintain strong cross functional relationships with Buying, Product/Branch Merchandising, Wholesale, Marketing, Logistics & finance
  • Monitor Franchise Assortment plans, at options level, identify areas of opportunity, communicate findings to said Partner
  • Respond and react to individual partner needs with regards to product queries including but not restricted to availability, alternative product options, cancellations, and special requests
  • Ensure quarterly Partner sign in process completed punctually; with quantities sent to the Product teams in line with the critical path
  • Responsible for ensure relevant documents are kept up to date, such as Store Information Database, Partner fees
  • Working with other key stakeholders identify improvements current processes
  • Work on business related projects as directed

Key Attributes / Skills:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with Merchandising, Franchise &/or International experience
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven problem solving abilities
  • Ability to develop new processes & workflows
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity
  • Adaptable to different situations and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to persuade and influence
  • Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
  • Ability to lead & develop a team in a fun, positive & motivational way
