We are looking for a new Production Coordinator to work within our Suits and Shirt production team.

Are you a highly accurate, problem-solving person who knows how to work with tight delivery schedules? Then you could potentially be what we are looking for. Whether you have a background in fashion or particularly interested in retail, this could be a nice path of your career at a pioneering fashion brand. In this role, you will be responsible for your own factories and their relevant products; being responsible for the production cycle, keeping direct communication with fabric producers and garment manufacturers. You need to plan and monitor your production next to being responsible for the quality of your factory output. The main goal will ultimately be to create the most effective production process for different stakeholders. This position is based at our Amsterdam headquarters. We're looking for someone living in the Netherlands or who is willing to relocate to the Netherlands. Fluency in English is a must.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and who is eager to solve everyday problems and overcome daily struggles within the production process. We are therefore looking for someone with at least 1-2 years' experience in production and/or buying, preferably in (men's) tailoring. Experience in formal wear production is a nice-to-have.

Your typical week includes

  • Product order management
  • Communicate orders with correct details and sizing
  • Including updating stakeholders on any major changes
  • Including QC
  • Daily intercultural communication with factories
  • Assisting in managing samples - order and monitor fabric meters as well as garments
  • Support the Production Manager in projects and optimizing work output
  • Work closely with team members to increase efficiency

This job might be for you if you have

  • 1-2 years' experience, preferably in (men's) tailoring in buying and/or production.
  • A good understanding of our product
  • Likes to get their hands dirty and is not afraid of some administrative work
  • Time management skills
  • Eye for detail
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and are not afraid to speak your mind
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Enthusiasm for our product

We will offer you

  • A lot of freedom and flexibility to perform well in your job.
  • To be a part of a fast paced and expanding global brand.
  • A place to work with the best product in men's tailoring in the world. We have long-term relationships with our mills and ateliers.
  • A place to work that cares deeply about the wellbeing of our partners and the environment. Suitsupply received the status of Leader from FairWear and we're proud to have earned that!
  • 40% discount on all Suitsupply products

Founded in Europe in 2000, Suitsupply has grown to over 90 international stores in cities such as Milan, London, Zurich, Amsterdam, New York, Toronto, Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition to our ever-expanding number of brick-and-mortar locations, we maintain a strong online presence, allowing Suitsupply to bring our style and top-tier service to all corners of the globe.

In an industry where fast fashion dominates and craftsmanship is fast disappearing, Suitsupply introduces a better option: one where no attention to detail or quality is ever spared. That’s why we use only the finest Italian fabrics sourced from mills such as Ferla, E. Thomas, Larusmiani and Vitale Barberis Canonico.

We have received widespread accolade from the likes of GQ, Esquire, and, perhaps most notably, a Wall Street Journal blind test that rated a $600 Suitsupply suit in a first-place tie with a $3,600 Armani.

While high-quality suiting at an affordable price point remain at the core of all that we do, our versatile range includes jackets, trousers, outerwear, shoes, accessories and attire available as prêt à porter and made-to-measure.

At Suitsupply, we pride ourselves in taking innovative approaches to traditional problems. This has led to the development of technologies such as our Design Your Own feature, our Garmentor app, and a commitment to in-house tailoring, providing quick alterations while you wait for a perfect fit every time. Each and every sales associate receives in-depth training through our acclaimed Suit School, bringing the unmatched level of passion and expertise that make Suitsupply’s customer service stand out.

The message is clear. We believe that nobody should leave Suitsupply with anything less than a perfect fit. If you’re equally devoted to quality, check out our jobs page for opportunities to join us.
