Get to know the team

As an Integration and Serviceability Engineer you will mainly take care of the testing and maintenance of communication protocols implemented by external parties, and you will develop digital reporting and internal data processing for better traceability and scalability of our operations. You will work from home and/or from one of our offices in Amsterdam or Bordeaux and you will report to the Asset Management Manager.

What you'll be doing

Scalability and traceability of our Services & Support operations

  • Administrate and improve digital intervention reporting templates, for any family of product (AC, DC) and standard intervention (commissioning, curative maintenance, and preventive maintenance)
  • Create scripts to automate data processing, along the flow of our data through our core applications, with the purpose of reducing manual actions in our daily routines, or demonstrating and experimenting what we need developers to implement in our core applications
  • Maintain and improve existing scripts used in the Asset Management team

Integration testing

  • Coordinate preparation of integration tests with Global Solutions Engineers
  • Execute test plans for the integration of 3rd party hardware (OCPP) and 3rd party platforms (OCPI) with our own charging management platform
  • Contribute to maintaining integrations, triage support requests and troubleshoot
  • Document progress and results
  • Contribute to other types of integration performed in the company when needed (integration of our AC and DC products in 3rd party platforms)
  • Provide feedback for improvement of test plans

Serviceability monitoring and improvement

  • Assess serviceability of our solutions after integration testing is done
  • Detail requirements for Support agents to be able to deliver on their mission and maintain the list of tools and accesses needed and used by Services & Support agents, for each product, each customer
  • Contribute to mapping Support flows and describing training needs
  • Contribute to creating requirements for additional pieces of data enabling Services & Support missions
  • Build end-to-end test plans to validate changes made for serviceability improvement
  • Although this role is data- and software-oriented, some serviceability requirements can be hardware-oriented (e.g. positioning of the serial number on the cover of the station for easy identification)

What you'll bring to the team

Technical Skills/ Hard Skills

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree, Computer Science
  • 2-3 years of experience in software development and validation
  • Comfortable with C++ and Python coding, and databases management (SQL)
  • Comfortable with working in multiple software environment, knowledge of OCPP and OCPI is a bonus
  • Experience with product industrialization and ERP/CRM integration is a plus (SAP, Salesforce)
