We’re a national law firm with a local reach. Our philosophy is ‘Expert Hand, Human Touch’ – something you’ll find in the way we work with our clients and how we support our teams. But, we’re more than just a law firm – we’re a team, working together to help individuals and businesses navigate life’s ups and downs.

Whichever team you join, working here you’ll feel a part of our friendly and inclusive environment. We’ll value you for who you are and what you bring. We support each other and push boundaries to achieve incredible things, and make a real difference to our clients and communities.

The work we do has been recognised in the awards we’ve won. We’re committed to being even better, and our awards help to show we’re on the right track.

We recognise that the office 9-5 isn’t for everyone. That’s why we’ve introduced ‘Flexible by Choice’. Whether it’s working from home, in our offices, or a combination of the both, we trust each other to support our clients, colleagues and communities at the right time, in the right way.

Your Role

We have ambitious plans to revolutionise the way we serve our clients and colleagues by building cloud-based, next-generation applications and services. Our Engineering Chapter’s vision is to be trusted partners, leaders in the provision of engineering services, responsible innovators & industry influencers.

  • Migrating and uplifting systems and processes from on-premise to the cloud
  • Taking part in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work.
  • Working in cross-functional agile delivery teams, working closely with project managers, business analysts, architects and testers
  • Working with the Group’s Service Delivery partners to provide 4th line (vendor-level) support. You’ll identify and resolve issues with applications following any agreed procedures.
  • Adhering to developer standards and best practices. Appropriate use of application lifecycle tools, including source control software, continuous integration and deployment platforms.
  • Working with experts at Microsoft and other industry leaders you’ll be supported with training and certification.

What We're Looking For

  • Power Platform Developer – demonstrative knowledge and experience using Power Apps and Power Automate. Experience of Dynamics365 or Dataverse development would be a bonus
  • Integrations Developer – proven experience of C# and SQL server. Existing knowledge of Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps or Functions would be beneficial, however training will be provided
  • Automation Developer – any experience of Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Terraform or Selenium
  • Good team player; good communication skills and operates in a collaborative manner.
  • Self-motivated, capable of producing high quality work with a low level of supervision.
  • Ability to balance changing demands through prioritisation with a pragmatic approach.
  • Resilient and has the ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment

What we can offer you

We also offer a huge number of well-being initiatives to encourage positive mental health both in and out of the workplace as well as flexible working options to ensure that you are fully supported to work the way that best suits you. Our social responsibility programme is fundamental to who we are. We’re committed to being a diverse and inclusive workplace where our colleagues can flourish.
