We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Wolters Kluwer Digital eXperience Group */dxg.

As our new Product Manager, you will work on our TaskFlow solution. TaskFlow is a no-code solution which provides interactive content that transforms static text, diagrams, word files, and spreadsheets into an interactive format that is easier to follow and use. TaskFlow uses visual, drag and drop programming, which means that even non-technical resources can author and edit interactive practical content. And because editors can focus on content creation rather than programming, they can create more content with the same editorial resources.

You will partner up with the team to run experiments and do customer research with the objective of surfacing business and user problems for the team to tackle. Once a clear business problem is identified you, along with the product team, team up with the User Experience Design team to lead and drive the early phases of the product development process. Then you will define the product strategy and product roadmap by employing industry best practices for product development (e.g. practices related to: Lean User Experience, Lean Startup and Agile Practices).

For this role you know how to balance 1) product management, 2) user experience and 3) technology. This role requires the ability to challenge and inspire your customers as well as technology decision makers of what is possible as we endeavor to deliver new value to current and future customer during this transformative period from print publishing to digital products.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Participate in customer engagements and research with the goal of surfacing customer and business problems to solve
  • Develop the product roadmap
  • Prioritize improvement requests and new capabilities
  • Establish and mature UX and Product Development processes for the TaskFlow team
  • Actively partner up with Wolters Kluwer business units in lean product development and product strategy
  • Manage international and multi-national envisioning workshops with multidisciplinary teams of business, technology, content and user experience roles

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Sciences, or related discipline, possibly in Business Administration or Economics
  • Expert knowledge of Lean Methodologies (Lean User Experience, Lean Startup and Agile/Scrum)
  • 2-3 years experience in a product management or product owner role
  • Intermediate knowledge of software technology is a plus
  • Experience in User Experience Design is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, planning, development and business skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated by ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and little oversight
  • Skillfully merge research findings, creative innovation, and proven practices to generate unique, strategic solutions
  • Being able to add structure in a rapid growing team of creative minded User Experience professionals without limiting the required creative space
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and interact with upper management
  • A “getting the job done” mentality
  • Fluent English required
