The corporate team
At Eversheds Sutherland (Netherlands) B.V., group head Tom van Wijngaarden handles the full spectrum of corporate transactions alongside private equity and capital markets work, with a notable focus on the life sciences and healthcare sector. The partnerteam fields Miriam van Ee, who advises on renewable energy and sustainability issues and Elmer Veenman, who specialises in technology transactions and corporate carve-outs. The practice also leverages the firm’s global network to assist with cross-border mandates.

We are looking for experienced Senior Associates to join our team.
Key responsibilities
You will be part of our Corporate/M&A team. You will also be encouraged to join one of the following sector teams:
The role will very much focus on general corporate/M&A work and the work type of the sector team you wish to join, with the benefit of the structured career progression that this brings, and will encompass a full remit of corporate work including all aspects of client work and relationship management, client generation and business development. You will have the opportunity to leverage off Eversheds Sutherland’s unique selling points, including specialist sector expertise, international capability and a highly developed transaction management approach.
You will be expected to play a leading role on M&A transactions, drafting principal documents, advising on corporate governance and being a key contact for clients, intermediaries and legal teams on the other side of the transaction. You will also become jointly responsible for managing the corporate/M&A team in the Netherlands and its overall success.
You will be required to contribute proactively and enthusiastically to our strategic objectives including by initiating and driving structured business development activities. You will also be expected to develop close working relationships with appropriate office contacts throughout the business both nationally and internationally and have an external network of contacts relevant to your area of focus.
