Location: Eindhoven/Amsterdam (hybrid internship with minimum of 1 office days)

Type: Internship – We are open to discuss support on your thesis subject as long as it will be in line with our project

Length: minimum of 5 months

We are looking for students to join our DA Consumer Marketing Management team for:

  • Espresso
  • Garment Care
  • HomeCare (Air & FloorCare)
  • Kitchen Appliances
  • Portioned & Drip

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Support the DA Benelux marketing team by implementing and localizing marketing strategies, together with other stakeholders, like the sales and trade shopper marketing team and the in-house digital marketing team.

You are responsible for

  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in realizing business targets
  • Updating and analyzing the business and market results and providing relevant insights
  • Shaping the activation and communication strategy for one of the categories together with the Marketing manager
  • Actively participating in the launch of new products (portfolio, retail, market and competitive analysis)
  • Localizing and translating campaign and product assets
  • Creating and optimizing content for various platforms and retailers
  • Executing the above tasks by teaming up with colleagues, ensuring good communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (sales/trade shopping/digital teams)

You are a part of

A team of passionate and driven marketing professionals in the Benelux. You will report to the Marketing Manager. Your base will be in Eindhoven, The Netherlands at the High-Tech Campus. We think it is important that our teams meet face-2-face on a weekly basis, but we also recognize the importance of managing your own agenda. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to work from home or from our Amsterdam office if allowed by your manager.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor or Master studying towards Marketing or Business Administration
  • Knowledge: marketing knowledge is mandatory, marketing experience is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Competences: strong Dutch and English communicational skills (both verbally and on paper), analytical, pragmatic, pro-active (self-starter), creative, dedicated, eye for detail, strong interpersonal skills, great team player
  • Previous internship experience at a FMCG or consumer marketing company is a plus
  • Affinity with consumer electronics
  • Languages: Dutch and English is a must, French is a big plus
