Your role

The Tax CPM Assistant Manager will play a key role in bringing the best of Deloitte Tax to our highest priority clients across our FY23 priorities.

Reporting to the Head of Client Portfolio Management (Tax), the role holder will work as part of an integrated team across Client Portfolio Management and Marketing to embed key activity.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with the Head of Tax CPM to drive engagement with (and reflect the needs of) our key Tax clients in our C&I activity
  • Working with the Tax C&I team to prioritise areas requiring support to implement the Tax marketing plan successfully and efficiently
  • Embedding standard processes and methodologies as they relate to portfolio management across the Tax practice
  • Providing timely reporting to key stakeholders on pipeline and wins, using Deloitte’s Salesforce programme, Jupiter, supported by the CPM Senior Assistant
  • Developing relationships with the central C&I client development team and colleagues in other businesses (service lines) to explore best practice and enhance Tax’s offerings as appropriate
  • Working alongside the Account Focus manager to provide input into the annual planning process on Tax priority accounts
  • Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution

Location: The role can be located anywhere within our National offices, however UK travel may be required on an ad hoc basis.

Essential:

  • Business development experience
  • Excellent project management, written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently under pressure, and on multiple assignments while maintaining top quality deliverables
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible and proactive attitude

  • Team-oriented with ability to working a fast-paced, high-volume and often dynamic environment
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrable experience in some if not all of Deloitte’s marketing and insight systems including; Marketo, BRMS, Jupiter, Eagle
  • Experience of working independently and with remote teams based in the UK

Desirable:

  • You will have worked in a similar capacity within a large professional services firm or Partnership structure
