The Account Manager plays a key role in the sales, delivery and support of instructor led and digital learning solutions at Zing. Reporting directly to the Client Services Manager and working closely with the senior leadership and training teams, you will promote and develop our instructor led and digital service offerings to grow relationships and revenue from existing clients. You will also serve as the single point of contact for all client enquiries and queries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Actively promote instructor led training sessions and programmes including Business Skills, Management and Leadership (ILM), Sales, Compliance & Technical.
  • Responsible for an individual sales target and growth of the existing Zing client base.
  • Responsible for generating and managing a pipeline of opportunities which is three times value of individual annual sales target.
  • Keeping pipeline of sales activity up to date, applying rigour to opportunity qualification and progression
  • Manage existing instructor led clients and seek new upsell and cross sales opportunities for other digital services and products.
  • Contributing information to sales and marketing strategies by assessing current product and services, monitoring competitors, and assessing needs
  • Reporting successes and securing client case studies and references
  • Conduct regular client review meetings, coordinating participation of responsible colleagues, and manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Preparing and presenting client training proposals and sales pitches to existing and prospective clients
  • Negotiating and closing business contracts and agreements
  • Manage client account data and responsible for updating the Zing CRM system
  • Liaising with trainers/consultants (internal and external) and be responsible for scheduling training events and programmes with the client.

Days/Hours/Holidays:

  • 5 days per week
  • 37.5 hours per week [flexible but core hours 9.00 – 5.30pm]
  • 25 days paid holiday per annum (excluded statutory bank holidays)
