The purpose of this exciting Service Delivery Manager role is to provide leadership and direction for the delivery of pre- and post-sales services and support to the relevant district's customers.

As the focal point for all operational service delivery related issues, you are responsible for executing the service delivery processes in the district ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. You will lead the Field Services Engineers ensuring a high level of teamwork and engagement levels.

This role will cover the North West and West Midlands District, ideally situated in the North West area.

You are responsible for

  • Managing customer relations: The customer experience is paramount, therefore the role will involve the recognition of customer needs, and the proactive management of customer relationships..
  • Team Liaison: Working with district sales and project management to provide technical input in support of the Order Acquisition Process (OAP) and Order Realization process (ORP)
  • People Management: Leading and mentoring a team of Field Service Engineers and ensuring service execution according to Philips procedures and processes. Your role will also include performance management and people development, including training plans.
  • Compliance: You will be responsible for service delivery operations compliance performance within the district and also for reporting compliance issues to quality & regulatory functions at regional level. Ensuring installation of base accuracy and monitoring maintenance operations are aligned with relevant business service manuals and quality policies.

You are a part of the Service and Solutions Delivery Team reporting to the Service Delivery Lead UKI. You will work with a of Service Delivery Managers across the UK.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience (Clinical subjects, Physiology, Engineering or other sciences)
  • Relevant experience in large Medical Equipment or Innovative Engineering Industry
  • Leadership skills
  • Field service management experience
  • Experience in Customer Services environment
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of technically skilled individuals
  • Technical expertise of problem solving.
  • Full driving licence
