About the role

As a UX Writer you will work alongside designers, developers, researchers, and product managers. You’ll incorporate qualitative and quantitative data into your decision-making in order to craft strategic initiatives that have a measurable impact on the user experience of both our products and product marketing messaging. While experience with optimization and experimentation is critical, you must also be able to influence stakeholders with the quality of your work.

Your engagement here will include but won't be limited to:

  • Write clear, consistent, concise user-interface copy
  • Champion a cohesive articulation of our brand and tonality across all products while maintaining and documenting standards for an evolving brand and product voice.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver compelling product experiences
  • Evolving the Tone of Voice at FareHarbor look at tonality and messaging through an international lens to deliver experiences for different markets
  • Develop and improve the processes around UX writing and Help define clear and repeatable processes for how others can work with UX.
  • Write clear and concise copy across multiple online channels and platforms that impact key business metrics
  • Send copy to Language Specialists with sufficient context (conceptual and visual) for translating your ideas to a local audience
  • Create copy-driven experiments to support product goals and your copy strategy
  • Use qualitative data, quantitative data and key metrics to measure the impact of your copy
  • Work with UX designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and many others to develop and execute business strategy through copy

Nice to have:

  • Experience managing localization across several markets

Here’s what we’re after:

  • You’re a native English speaker.
  • Crisp, clear UX copy is part of your DNA.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in UX writing, ideally in scaleups.
  • You have a portfolio of copy for both web and mobile applications, including things like headlines, instructional copy, and error messages.
  • You’ve collaborated with creative, web, and product teams to help bring consistency to the user journey.
  • You have experience using user testing platforms to validate your work.
  • You’re comfortable with a fast-paced environment, and flexible when the need arises to change direction.
  • You can lead projects smoothly and communicate clearly.
