IMCD’s Food & Nutrition business is a leading Business Unit within IMCD and has seen rapid development in recent years through acquisitions, supplier development and sales growth. Our International Product Manager (IPM) manages several suppliers within our Food & Nutrition business group. In this role, you will report and work closely with the IPM. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational topics but also be involved in more strategical matters, like business reviews with the IMCD countries.

Your key responsibilities

One of the responsibilities which comes with this role, is to ensure a smooth operational execution by acting as point of contact between the supplier and IMCD on questions regarding product demand, availability, pricing, etc.. Our new team member, will also be responsible for:

  • Driving inventory planning through coordinating forecasts and defining relevant stock levels together with the IMCD intercompany entity
  • Organizing monthly business reviews with IMCD countries and the relevant local product managers to track business/pipeline performance and identify priorities
  • Support IMCD segment champions by driving business intelligence standardization through digitalization across all of the supplier’s segments
  • Analysing and monitoring the supplier’s business performance and identify gaps to sales & margin budget
  • Preparing for - and supporting the IPM with - quarterly business reviews with the supplier
  • Supporting IMCD stakeholders on the supplier (product) documentation requests
  • Ensuring supplier product data integrity across all IMCD IT platforms
  • The preparation and execution of central online/offline campaigns for relevant business segments

Your skills & capabilities

For this position, we are looking for someone who has strong business acumen and a commercial orientation, with the ambition to develop a career in IMCD. A good knowledge and understanding of the food ingredients business is a plus. You must also be an entrepreneurial individual with a positive can-do attitude. The ideal candidate also has:

  • The willingness to travel approx. 10 - 20 % of the time

Your profile

Ideally, you have 2-4 years of experience in speciality food ingredients with responsibility in business, marketing/ sales. Also:

  • A degree in Food Technology or Business Studies (Marketing, Business Economics, Management) is preferred.
  • Excellent command of English is a must required, must be fluent in writing as well as spoken
  • A Dutch or EU work- & residence permit is required.
