As the Accountants Payables - Goods Administration you are part of the Finance department at the International HQ of Hunkemöller in Hilversum.

The Accountants Payables - Goods administration is responsible for an adequate (efficient and effective) administrative processing and matching of trade invoices with delivered purchase orders and settlement of freight invoices in our ERP system SAP. In this role, one is also responsible for preparing payment batches of delivered orders.

Formally you report to the Teamleader GA & AP, but you will also have regular informal contact with your other colleagues from the Finance Department, and other Hunkemöller Departments, in particular the Logistics, Buying and many more.

Your main responsibilities concern the following areas:

  • Processing Trade & Freight invoices in SAP;
  • Reconciliation of received goods with trade invoices;
  • Maintaining master data of vendors in SAP;
  • Preparing payment proposals;
  • Assist in month-end reporting activities;
  • Assist with clean AP ledgers; no unapplied cash, all invoices and credit notes to be timely and accurately recorded;
  • Continuous improvement of management information, provide analysis and communicate to affiliates.

In order to be able to perform the role properly, we ask the following:

  • Knowledge of SAP is a must;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Experience in accounts payables, reconciliations and financial operations;
  • Excellent Excel skills and computer savvy;
  • Experience with extracting, processing, analyzing raw data;
  • Quick learner with a ‘can do’ mentality;
