WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be based in our Prague or Amsterdam office as part of our global real estate department. The real estate department provides strategic and hands-on expertise and support to McKinsey in managing our global real estate portfolio.

You will work with other team members focusing on locations in Europe, Middle East and Africa. You will also work closely with local stakeholders including senior leadership on new locations/relocations, renewals, renovations and subleasing. WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will provide expertise, advice, and leadership on all aspects of the real estate life cycle, from active portfolio management through transaction management, workplace strategy and design, and vendor selection to implementation. You will ensure that each location’s real estate solution aligns with the overall global strategy.

You will regularly review and analyze the portfolio against metrics, market knowledge and location needs. In addition to building strategies for the locations within your portfolio, you will contribute to the development and implementation of global real estate strategic initiatives. You will track and analyze occupancy metrics, spend and project future occupancy costs by leveraging tools and dashboards prepared by our data specialists to drive insight into the portfolio and explore opportunities to optimize our approach.

You will collaborate with project managers and/or workplace specialists in creating workplace strategies. You will guide local stakeholders through design and any construction build-out process including setting/managing the construction budget and the process of moving in. You will also partake in the selection, term negotiation and engagement with external advisors (e.g., architects, project managers, brokers and construction specialists).
