Our customers use Spotr to gain insights into their portfolio of buildings. We gather raw data from various sources and transform it into something that they can use to keep their property sustainable, healthy and secure.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications. You'll work with the development team, as well as UX/UI designers and graphic designers. You'll work closely with our back-end and data science to deliver consistent and reliable web experience. You'll work with our designers to improve usability for our customers. You'll optimize web design for mobile and other platforms for maximum speed. You'll work with designers to ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency. Ultimately, your work will have a direct impact on the user experience of our customers.
You will be working in a multidisciplinary team. This team follows a two-week scrum cycle.
You are a pragmatic problem-solver. You don’t mind a high pace and regular changes and enjoy an incremental approach on software development. You create a maintainable, testable and responsive frontend that solves the customers’ needs efficiently.
We’re looking for someone with at least five years of relevant frontend development experience, including experience with the full React ecosystem. You’re comfortable with coaching and mentoring junior developers, and your eye for layout aesthetics makes you a good sparring partner for the design team. We gather thousands of images and maps from a variety of sources, so you can see properties from every angle. Our product started out as a tool for inspecting buildings by using drones. Now, we use over nine image sources, ranging from humans to satellites in order to analyze entire building portfolios in minutes.
