Job Description

The JDE E-commerce department is a startup within the larger JDE corporate. We are a young and eager team of digital experts responsible for developing the global e-commerce activities and online experience for JDE and work in close alignment with local markets and global departments. Working with the JDE Global eCommerce Team means you’ll be making an impact in a fast-paced, collaborative and international environment. We work in a full agile setup, celebrating success and supporting one another.

The Digital Technology Team works shoulder to shoulder with stakeholders at Digital Marketing and Digital Commerce to define and deliver the development roadmap for our Marketing, Category Management, and Ecommerce. The team partners with the Architects, Product Owners, and Development partners and has the accountability over the full Digital landscape.

As Digital Business Analyst you will be at the heart of connecting the marketing organization to the technical teams running the technology. Your responsibility will be to understand and capture business input and translate that into technical requirements that are truly omnichannel.

You will interact with local marketing organizations to understand what they want to achieve and what the business impact is. You will help refine their business requirements so that they can deliver on them using our standard product solutions. For this you will team up with technology specialist and product owners and have a great understanding of what are the digital capabilities readily available.

You will assess when new development is needed, and translate it into technical requirements to be brought to business owners, technology specialists, solution architects and product owners. Your understanding of the IT landscape and dependencies across platforms - such as web, CRM, consent management, data tracking, APIS, backend platforms - will ensure you know who are all the stakeholders needed to deliver on the task.

You will also be working with the global marketing organization and be a driving force behind big scale, big impact and innovation projects to translate business requirements and ensure there is a fit between global and local stakeholders.

Like in any position of great responsibility, the ability to work across teams is essential. As you can imagine, the Business Analyst should be engaged with marketing teams, ops & tech teams, legal and compliance teams.

What we expect from a Digital Business Analyst:

• Engages with marketing stakeholders and clearly formulates business requirements and impact allowing for priotization of asks

• Drives thorough analysis of the ask and collects required implementation details to be able to asses gaps with existing capabilities. Is able to advice businesses on how to achieve marketing goals by reducing complexity of the ask.

• Drives omnichannel projects forward by understanding the dependencies across different systems and tools and ensuring the team is aligned on an execution plan

• Translates global business requirements into technical requirements and tasks. Engages with the local organizations to asses scalability of programs, collect local requirements and assets required for project delivery

• Communicates internally and externally with a wide array of stakeholders and adapts communication to different levels of digital maturity: from marketing and customer care directors, media specialist and digital specialists to technology specialists, solution architects, product owners, development teams and support organization

For this role as Digital Business Analyst, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor degree

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role bridging the gap between business and technology

• Passionate and strong affinity about technology and agile software development

• Ability to interact across a wide variety of stakeholders, business and technical executives: understand priorities of stakeholders and provide clarity through communication

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work in multiple cross-functional teams, providing leadership or support when needed

• Comfortable working in an agile working environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Analytical and creative thinker with practical problem-solving skills

• Collaborative, team players with excellent communication.

• Bonus points when experience with web CMS (Episerver), CRM (Salesforce), Consent management (OneTrust)
