As an International Legal Counsel, you will be providing legal and contracting support to the Business Unit Offshore Wind, based in our Gorinchem offices. You will support the tender, procurement and project teams, advising on legal and contractual risks and opportunities arising in the course of bidding and tendering processes, contract execution and maintenance/warranty periods.
You would be engaged in a suite of main- and subcontract type’s ranging from Balance of Plant, to Transport & Installation and from Design & Construct to true subcontract; from Services Agreements to vessel charters and from joint venture agreements to NDAs, and more.
You will be member of tender- and procurement teams, as a representative of the legal team.
We would expect you to be a pro-active, self-confident, constructive critical, creative and sociable legal advisor of the various team leaders and BU Management, looking for solutions not problems along Van Oord’s contracting principles, who values teamwork, sharing and who can put things in perspective and has affinity with the dynamics of a project driven organisation. And who is has a sense of humour and is generally good humoured.
Your advice and recommendations are convincing, and you are capable when it comes to working on different projects, in different teams at the same time and flexible/willing to occasionally travel.
