As a Contract Manager, you will be providing legal and contracting support to the Business Unit Offshore, based in our Gorinchem offices. You will provide contract administration to project teams for the on-going subsea rock installation (SRI) projects, advising on legal and contractual risks and opportunities arising in the course of contract execution and maintenance/warranty periods.
We would expect you to be a pro-active, self-confident, constructive critical, creative and sociable legal advisor of the various team leaders and BU Management, able to focus on detailed aspects whilst understanding the full picture, looking for solutions not problems along Van Oord’s contracting principles, who values teamwork, sharing and who can put things in perspective and has affinity with the dynamics of a project driven organisation. And who is has a sense of humour and is generally good humoured.
Your advice and recommendations are convincing and you are capable, when it comes to working on different projects, in different teams at the same time and flexible/willing to occasionally travel.
