About this vacancy

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic intern who is interested in working on different digital HR projects within an international environment. In our Corporate Human Resource department, we develop various instruments, programs and processes for our organization worldwide. In a growing digital world, there is also a demand for HR digitization and HR IT solutions. Our main focus is on digitizing Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment, Onboarding and Talent Management. All topics come together and are supported by our Global HR system (SAP SuccessFactors).

During this internship you will work directly with the Global HRIS and People Analytics Manager for Stork. You will join us in working on the following topics in a supporting or project-leading role. Together we can decide which are most appropriate for you to work on, taking into account your personal interests in the various topics.

Examples of tasks and projects you can work on:

Support the further roll-out of HR Digital roadmap for Stork;

Support the role out of the HR support system;

Support improvement of the Performance, Talent Management and Recruitment modules;

Support further roll-out of People Analytics for Stork;

Participate in the preparation of the Stork Global compensation cycle;

Development of several communication and training materials;

Coordinate and supervise testing and implementation of digital HR solutions;

Provide support to key stakeholders in the roll-out and day-to-day use of the digital HR solution.

You are encouraged to share your own ideas and put them into practice. You will also attend meetings with stakeholders worldwide. The diverse character of the activities and tasks involved during this internship will make your time at Stork challenging and inspiring.

What do you bring as Digital Human Resources Intern

You are a 3rd or 4th year student in HR or Business studies or comparable;.

Specific requirements for the Intern:

Your English written skills are excellent, knowledge of the Dutch language is preferable;

You are interested in providing digital solutions for HR processes;

You have strong analytical skills;

You are tech savvy;

You are communicative and creative;

You work independently, proactively, in a structured and result-oriented manner;

You are eager to learn and are always open to new insights, knowledge and feedback.

What we can offer you

You will learn to make use of HR tools such as SAP SuccessFactors and PowerBI as well as the Microsoft Office suite.

Furthermore, you have the possibility to write your thesis at Stork on a relevant topic (if this is necessary).

Also, you get your own laptop, on which you can work both at home and at the office in Utrecht.

Start: Flexible (second half of 2022)

Hours per week: 32-40 hours

Period: 5-6 months

Location*: Utrecht, you will work + / - 50% from the office and 50% from home

Internship compensation: €500,- per month, based on 40 hours

The location of the internship is the head office in Utrecht, where various departments are located. This also applies to the Global Human Resources department, of which you will become part. You will additionally be working with team members across the globe.

The Corporate HR department currently consists of several teams: HRIS and People Analytics, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development and Recruitment. You will have a lot of contact with all of them. In addition to your own team, you also have many internal and external contacts, such as the regional consultants and external consultancies, and with the IT department.
