How will you change the world at Quicargo?

As a Product Intern, you will be supporting the product side of our organisation, where the true magic happens! The tasks range from performing quality assurance controls on our platform to updating pricing and preferences. This role is at the heart of what the company does and will allow the ideal candidate to learn about how to roll out efficient and scalable operational processes at a rapidly scaling start-up.

As a Product Intern, you will be generally responsible for researching, understanding, and finally communicating the needs of all our stakeholders to the Product Manager and eventually throughout the entire business. For this it is important that you are able to understand the needs of different stakeholders such as the Management team, our customers and our team. You must also be aware of business and commercial needs. You will learn how to transform general feedback and ideas into specific business proposals and how you can identify business opportunities for our product. You will be working with all teams and gain a deeper understanding of how you can successfully develop and scale a platform.

Do your skills and background fit our requirements?

  • Currently studying at university or college;
  • Fulltime available for at least 13 weeks, starting in September (earlier is possible);
  • Affinity with tech;
  • Ability to communicate with different kinds of stakeholders and transform this into specific business outcomes;
  • Ability to jump in the deep end, learn quickly and be proactive;
  • Excellent organisational skills and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment;
  • An ability to manage deadlines, your workload and the expectations of clients, colleagues and suppliers;
  • Self-motivated, driven, and engaging.

What would make you stand out from the rest?

  • You know what User stories are and how to write them;
  • You are familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • You have experience with Software Testing
