Description & Requirements

Duration: 5/6 months

Platform/Project: Culinary Development Team

Location: Nijmegen- Kraft Heinz Innovation Centre

During your Internship you will be part of the R&D International Culinary team. As an integrated team member- we welcome you to take part in the team’s activities such as team & category meetings- which will give you a real feel for the company and the business. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior partners. Your primary responsibility will be to do a deep dive into our pan western style condiments.

Project brief

In brief- you will be responsible for culinary support on future projects concerning Pan-European condiment sauces across multiple levels of the innovation process: from trend analysis- ideation- prototyping culinary gold standards to recipe development.

Key activities

  • Prototype recipes as part of our global trending flavor program
  • Map and test condiments of world cuisine with matching host foods
  • Create- test and document new consumer recipes
  • Seek key trends and understand flavour at a cross-portfolio perspective

Internship Requirements

  • Currently following a Bachelor’s in Food (e.g. Technology- Design- Innovation) or Culinary qualification
  • A passion for food and cooking and with advanced cooking skills
  • Culinary background preferred
  • Strong English verbal and writing skills (level C1)
  • Must maintain student status for the duration of the internship placement (50%)
  • Must have EU work authorization or be studying in The Netherlands
  • Available from January-March 2022 to June-August 2022
