The Student Hotel is looking for a procurement intern to join the head office team for a period of at least 6 months starting in September 2022. The procurement intern will be part of the corporate services team and report to the procurement specialist.

Your mission should you choose to accept it:

Opening these hotels means working with a lot of new suppliers. As procurement intern, you will assist the procurement specialist supporting the operational teams in their search for suppliers, manage supplier relations and implementation of the TSH procurement platform. As part of the procurement team you will be closely working alongside the F&B management team, hotel managers and the impact manager.

What You'll Do:

  • Support in the selection of suppliers, both local and international
  • Support of selection processes (RFI/ RFP/ negotiations)
  • Support supply market reviews
  • Support the roll-out of the TSH procurement platform
  • Maintenance the procurement platform
  • Train colleagues in the use of the TSH procurement platform
  • Create ad-hoc requests

Who You Are:

  • You're a student - you must be enrolled in a university preferably studying a related field
  • You have excellent planning skills and ability to deal with time limits.
  • You're a team player, have a strong personality, and are creative.
  • You have an international mindset, cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • You have a proactive, can do attitude, enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and knowledge.
  • You have strong analytical skills and must be experienced working with Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken), other European languages are considered an advantage.
  • You're available for a minimum of 6 months.
  • You're currently enrolled in a university within the EU.
