For our Brand Licensing Department at Azerion headquarters in Amsterdam we are looking for a Designer Intern.

We are responsible for the integration and distribution of web and mobile games through Azerion’s gaming platforms. We ensure games are ready to be played by arranging QA, Art, Launch, and Promotions.

What you will be doing and learning in this internship

You will be part of the Brand Licensing team, working with an unlimited portfolio of casual and social games spread out over many different platforms and departments within the company. In this internship, you will learn to organize and prioritize your creative work according to deadlines and think creatively and innovatively about new designs for presentations while working closely with an experienced designer in the casual gaming world.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • You will assist the Brand Licensing Manager in day to day business with creative materials and designs.
  • Create and optimize a variation of PowerPoint presentations Brand/IP Team
  • Create images for the social media platforms
  • Manage, give feedback and approval on incoming Artwork
  • Work closely with the game design Team and propose creative ideas
  • Creating a variation of images for incoming new games
  • Creating banners for promotional purposes for casual and social games
  • Play games, get to know the current portfolio and learn the type of design style

What will you be able to learn

  • Being able to create a variation of different type designs with IP branded games as the main subject
  • Working with approving artwork/assets from existing work and knowing how to improve if needed
  • Having more in-depth experience working with Adobe Suite and JIRA
  • Working in a dynamic team and working independently
  • Learning to handle expectations, adapting and grow from feedback
  • Working with IP brands and executing the brand style

What you are able to bring to the table

  • You are enrolled in a Dutch school for the whole duration of the internship and are located in the Netherlands
  • A study based of (graphic or digital) design or in a relevant field
  • Basic knowledge and experience in Adobe Suite (Specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign)
  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, composition, color and other graphic design fundamentals
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint and Excel)
  • An eye for detail
  • Affinity with games (experience in the gaming industry is a plus)
  • Desire to be involved and willing to improve products
  • Good communications skills in the language English (speaking and writing)
  • Able to work individually and in a team
  • Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced competitive environment, knowing how to prioritize and able to work under pressure
