About the Position

We are looking for an experienced International Program Manager who will partner with and support the International Zone (IZ) by providing an independent business service to drive the Zone Program delivery. The position is part of the IZ PMO and will report into the IZ PMO and PM Lead.

The IZ PMO has three focus points:

  • Providing the business an independent service (development- track and report) to prioritize and drive the Program delivery against its company goals
  • Develop- train and maintain the centralized Idea to Execution (ITE) methodology- including its governance- for cross functional initiatives
  • Build and maintain the associated systems to serve the need for effective and efficient Portfolio- Program & Project Management

The IZ Program Manager is responsible for one or more categories. Within those categories their responsibilities are:

  • Supporting the category leadership team to create a portfolio which meets the company objectives on value- quality and readiness
  • Lead selected programs as a program manager and translate the category objectives in projects
  • Provide insight in the category portfolio- programs and project status including prioritization and post launch evaluation
  • Preparing- leading- concluding the monthly governance cycle of Category Leadership Team meetings
  • Supporting the project managers in working within the Project and Program management system
  • Maintaining a high standard of data quality

Outside of the category support a member of PMO is expected to:

  • Create ITE process- reporting and system improvements
  • Give training on process and systems

Education- Skills & Experience

  • Must be educated to degree level
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with cross functional project teams
  • Strong functional experience in process management- evaluation and reporting.
  • Thorough understanding of project processes and systems with ability to train people on use and adapt where required to keep process and system current.
  • Advanced planning and organizing- analytical and fact-based decision-making skills
