Senior Sourcing Recruiter

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be based in one of our European offices as part of our Recruiting & Talent Insights (RTI) team. We are strategic thought partners who identify distinctive and diverse talent for the firm. Our deep integration with hiring teams allows us to provide data-driven ‘best in class’ profiles and market intelligence that decreases time and cost per hire. This team is part of our broader recruiting organization, and works with various recruiting cells, hiring across all levels and tenure in the firm.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will be responsible for proactively identifying and developing a talent pipeline by leveraging your expertise on a variety of sourcing methods.

In this role, you will play an integral role in achieving the hiring goals and contribute to the overall success of the talent acquisition team. You will establish and maintain relationships with a diverse pool of high potential candidates (sometimes for months) and transition them to recruiters when they are formally ready to enter the process. You will partner with internal clients and recruiters to deliver top talent to the firm. You will act as a thought partner and search advisor to the recruiting teams, building long term trust-based relationships.

You will generate interest through clearly articulating the McKinsey value proposition to candidates using creative marketing and social media messaging and you will take an active role in screening and pre-qualifying potential candidates to determine their fit. In addition, you will develop a pipeline for current and future hiring needs and foster relationships with passive talent and recruiters.

You'll also act as a talent advisor to recruiting teams and leverage various RTI capabilities to create robust sourcing strategies and market insights.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of relevant experience working in a professional services environment
• Strong knowledge of the local talent market and sourcing channels
• Expertise in Boolean search methodology
• Strong client services orientation
• Ability to cultivate trust-based working relationships with clients and colleagues; ability to build strong candidate relationships
• Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity particularly in the context of evolving search parameters or timelines
• Strong project management and prioritization skills
• Strong influencing capabilities
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
