WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be part of our Risk function in one of our locations in continental Europe (i.e., Brussels, Prague, Dusseldorf, Munich, Madrid, Amsterdam). The Risk function’s mission is to enable McKinsey's client impact and innovation, while managing risks to our firm, our clients, and our people.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will work with the senior risk advisor for client capabilities to advise McKinsey's partners and risk committee on how our firm can best serve its clients through creation and delivery of new, innovative offerings, while managing the risks involved.

In this role, you will be reviewing cases and providing guidance on how to manage potential risks stemming from the creation, marketing and launch of various client capabilities (e.g., new service offerings; new assets, including client-facing data or analytics assets; etc.), working in partnership with the senior risk advisor on the most complex cases.

You will consider the full range of risks which may stem from the entrepreneurial creation of new client capabilities, and you will integrate advice from across firm functions, industry practices, geographic offices and new delivery models to provide counsel on multi-faceted issues.

You will develop briefing materials and coordinate discussions for the risk committee on new client capabilities and then codify the findings both to facilitate firm-wide learning and to help teams track their progress against requirements. In addition to supporting reviews of these capabilities, you will be a key thought partner in driving continuous improvement in the process for reviewing our firm's assets, capabilities and solutions.
