You are responsible for

  • Research on candidate insights and share actionable inputs, being a strong interface with the Sourcing team.
  • Research and share global market trends in the areas of digital branding, customer journeys and/or recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Enhance the visibility of successful Recruitment Marketing initiatives by preparing inspiring and complete reports and decks. Basic design skills (ability to use Photoshop, InDesign and/or illustrator are preferred skills)
  • Run quality checks User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on our websites and suggest improvements and optimization from a user experience perspective, within the framework of the candidate journey.
  • Support the co-ordination and development of ground-breaking content pieces that will be used as part of the team’s always-on strategy’, in line with the new Philips Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
  • Regularly update and keep organized our platforms (Share point, Philips asset library, HR portal).
  • Playing an active role in all internal activations from the central team, online (i.e. spreading buzz on Philips Community) and offline (i.e. internal events, office decoration…).

You will be joining a creative, passionate, and results-oriented global Recruitment Marketing team, with the freedom to concentrate on a focused, meaningful set of projects. We are part of the broader Talent Acquisition (TA) Center of Expertise for Philips and are passionate about identifying, attracting, and acquiring exceptional and diverse talent around the world. You will report to the Head of Global recruitment marketing and work closely with the rest of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, external media and creative partners, as well as members of our in-house Brand, Communications & Digital and HR Digital teams to execute your projects and optimization ideas. You will also collaborate with the local Brand communications and Digital team to share resources and to align on brand identity and executional requirements.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • You are studying towards your Master degree (1st or 2nd year Master study) in Marketing Communications, Communications, or a related field of study,
  • Previous internship experience in the same field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with and a passion for leveraging digital channels and social media channels for either personal and/or professional communications (Blog/Vlog)
  • Strong written and verbal skills; fluency in English required.
  • Design skills (ability to use 2 programs among Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator) are an important preferred asset.
  • Is a self-starter – someone who is innately motivated and inspires others with their positive attitude and energy
  • Can work both independently and in group settings comfortably
  • Shows initiatives, will be very enthusiastic and ambitious

  • We are open for discussion to make this internship assignment suitable for thesis depending the subjects you want to add to enrich the content of it
  • Duration: We are looking for students that run a 6 months internship, but prefer certain flexibility to enlarge the duration until a maximum of 12 months
  • We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, no later than May 2018
