Key Responsibilites of the role:

  • Produce Scope/Vision documents
  • Produce Requirements Specifications
  • Document Business Flows
  • Provide Input to Technical Solution Design (working with Vendors and/or other teams)
  • Preparation for Testing (advising our QA team)
  • User Training
  • Organise and Co-ordinate Test Execution (UAT)
  • Co-ordinate End Client Interaction
  • Operational 2nd line Support

Candidate Profile / Key Skills

  • A proven ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Experience of working within the project lifecycle
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to manage relationships effectively
  • Must be self-motivated and have a desire to engage in process improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 1st class Technology Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Ideal candidate will also have experience / exposure to Capital Markets (ideally another exchange / venue or information vendor or trading firm).
  • Comfortable working with both internally developed systems and vendor produced systems.
  • Proven experience in managing/coordinating or working with off site QA teams.
  • Extensive experience of requirements elicitation, analysis and writing documentation across the full project lifecycle including the Business Case, functional specifications, user documentation, etc.
  • Project management qualifications and knowledge of Agile methodology is welcome.
