The Expedia, Inc. Talent Management Team is searching for someone with a unique and diverse skillset, ready to support our programs across the enterprise. This role will provide subject matter expertise for our programs which may include manager and leadership development, performance management, and succession planning, while enabling the candidate to learn and grow within a developing team.

The optimal candidate will be able to apply their education and background to deliver on our global approach, actively engage and manage stakeholders, and add value to many aspects of growing and developing new talent products and services.

This role is a 12-week summer internship located in our London office.

  • Following a vision to create go-to-market-ready manager resources and support materials for our global performance programs and manager development programs, which could include collateral such as guidebooks, online content, or app development
  • Developing an architecture for consistent manager communications, curating content, and using technology to support the delivery
  • Providing a structure for our internal employee-facing intranet sub-site, developing content and proving project management of stakeholders as appropriate
  • Researching emerging talent management or learning and development concepts, metrics, or analytics

Qualifications:

  • Approaching completion of an Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Master’s in Business Administration
  • Desire to learn the talent management function from the ground-up
  • Research, and data mind set; curiosity to look externally for ideas and best practices
  • Metrics and measurement mind set; ability to gather and converge multiple data sources, analyze data and summarize trends and insights
  • Desired Prior Experiences Include:
  • Creation of communications or support materials
  • Development of course content, classroom and virtual facilitation of manager or leadership training and development
  • Working in a growing, globally dispersed, and diverse organisation, balancing multiple stakeholder needs
