IMCD uses a Product Information Management (PIM), Document Management System (DMS) and enhanced Regulatory Software. These software solutions and databases compile part of a system in which product and catalogue data is consolidated, standardized, enriched and shared within and beyond IMCD.

The system serves as a trusted enterprise product record that feeds existing applications, such as ERP and CRM, as well as future omni-channel e-commerce-solutions. It accelerates product introductions, provides the option of streamlining trading partner-collaborations and ensures data quality and regulatory governance standards on all aspects of product master data.

Key responsibilities:

As Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will support with the development and implementation of a global SDS Creation Software, with the focus on the EMEA region. You will also be responsible for:

  • Maintenance of regulatory and product data in cases of regulatory changes or product updates
  • Global Item Creation/ Item Setup in the PIM system with focus on EMEA
  • Local Item Creation / Item Setup in the ERP with focus on local requirements
  • Check of regulatory software output; including error analysis and corrective measures, if needed
  • Check and creation of SDS and regulatory documentation

Skills & capabilities

We are looking for someone with a minimum of two years’ experience in the regulatory field of the chemical distribution or the chemical industry and has a good understanding of the chemical distribution business We also look for someone with:

  • A degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related Science
  • Strong regulatory knowledge in REACH, CLP, Transport legislations. Additional knowledge in food/feed, pharma etc. is considered beneficial
  • Experience with checking SDS and other regulatory documentation and a good knowledge of MS Excel-Functions, MS Teams and MS Outlook
  • The analytical and process-oriented thinking, who has good communication skills and is fluent in English. An additional language is considered beneficial.
  • A Dutch or EU work permit is a must.
  • An entrepreneurial individual with a positive can-do attitude
