Axiom is seeking a Paralegal Recruitment Analyst to join our Sales Team in our London office.

What’s the role?

The London Lawyer Talent Team recruits, on-boards, and engages in the relationship management, performance management and professional development of our London lawyers and paralegals. The team strategically partners with our sales team to ensure that the population and composition of the Lawyer population meets the demand from clients.

The Paralegal Recruiter plays an integral role in the overall success of the company and our ability to grow our talent and expand our business in London. This is a position for someone who loves to connect with people, exhibits outstanding judgment and professionalism and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Not only will you be afforded a high degree of independence, but the opportunity to work with an amazing group of fun and talented people.

Specifically, this role will be responsible for:

  • End-to-end recruitment of our paralegal bench, including screening applicants, interviewing, conducting diligence, and providing ideas for enhancement or change;
  • Building and maintaining a network of potential candidates by direct sourcing, pro-active market research and cultivate relationships and maintain close communication with external recruiters;
  • Conducting candidate evaluations and hiring decisions;
  • Maintaining candidate profiles and status of recruitment activity and report activity levels regularly;
  • Ongoing HR management for the paralegal team – acting as the first point of escalation for any HR related issues;
  • Working closely with our sales team to analyse client demand and manage our lawyer hiring strategy based on practice area and experience level;
  • Developing a deep understanding of the skills, practice areas, seniority, and industry experience of Axiom Lawyers within each assigned practice;
  • Meeting hiring targets and wider recruitment KPIs to ensure a consistent, relevant pipeline of candidates.

Beyond these characteristics, here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities and education:

  • -2 years of recruitment experience within a recruitment agency and/or in-house environment (legal preferred);
  • Project management skills and meticulous attention to detail;
  • Strong commercial awareness;
  • knowledge of the legal talent market;
  • Strong time management, decision making and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Strong initiative, multi-tasking, project management and organizational skills
