Role Overview

AlphaSights is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our growing HR function. Based in our London office, you will work within the Operations team to deliver HR services to AlphaSights team across the European region.

We are looking for a versatile self-starter who excited about doing whatever it takes to support and enable coworkers through all stages of the employee lifecycle, from pre-hire engagement and onboarding to performance management and offboarding. The Global Operations Team is dedicated to raising the standard of professionalism at AlphaSights and increasing employee satisfaction and engagement, and this role is a responsive and visible part of the team. This position will report in the HR Manager and support employees in London, Hamburg, and Dubai with the opportunity to work on global projects, and is, therefore, an exciting opportunity for someone looking to launch a career in HR.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from employees
  • Assisting in drafting contracts and official correspondence
  • Working with the Recruitment and Professional Development team in the onboarding of new employees
  • Run the HR onboarding process from offer stage to induction
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee HR records
  • Performance tracking
  • Contribute to monthly payroll inputs
  • Assist with the visa processes and migrant reporting with support from the HR Manager
  • Help design, implement and drive HR policy
  • Support HR Manager in Employee Relations matters
  • Take ownership of specific projects or initiatives as directed by the HR Manager
  • Undertake any other duties, as may from time to time be required to support the regional and global HR function

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree, with strong academic credentials and noteworthy extracurricular leadership
  • 0-1 year of experience or internships in a generalist HR role preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Thrives in working in team-oriented environment
